Indicates the inconsistency at which the team obtains results. The bigger the number, the more inconsistent, irregular, the team. Calculated for the whole schedule of the team: home, away and neutral games. Regular, consistent teams will have a smaller number

Indicates the effect of the home and away condition on the results obtained by the team. A positive home factor indicates the team obtained better results at home. A negative home factor indicates the team obtained better results playing away from home. The results are adjusted for the difficulty of the schedule. The home factor is expressed in points. A value of 0 indicates that the team has not yet played at least one game at home and one game away.

The expected difference in points from a game between two teams is the difference in the points statistic, adjusted for the home factor.

However, that is speculation: the ranking does not provide probabilities of future results and the human factor will be always present.

The points statistic is an estimation of the average point difference a team would obtain if played all other teams ranked.

The ranking is calculated considering:

• the results obtained by the team
• the point difference
• the difficulty of the adversary
• the field palyed at: home, away, neutral
• extreme results are eliminated
