UPCOMING REGIONAL MEETINGS
October 16, 2008
The next two meetings for the NCLL will be held on Saturday December 6 at the University of Richmond or VCU and Sunday December 7 at the University of Maryland. Maryland's meeting will be held at 1:00 pm in the Student Union in room 2108 (Pyon Su Room).

The NCLL announced earlier today that RPI of New York, Cabrini College of New Jersey, Siena College of New York and St. Mary's College of Maryland have been accepted by the league to join the Liberty Division, Empire East Division and Capitol Division for Spring 2009. Upon league voting guidelines, each division is expected to confirm this announcement upon the completion of the regional meetings. More announcements to follow.
Maryland NCLL Fall Brawl

Congratulations to host Maryland Lacrosse Club for capturing the Division I Championship game with a well-earned victory over the SeaGulls of Salisbury University. Fighting back from an early 3 goal deficit to tie the game late, Salisbury appeared to capture the momentum, but as Maryland has done so many times over the years to so many worthy opponents, the second half was all red and white as Maryland wrapped up the night with a 6-3 victory.
With both teams traveling well over 4 hours each to reach the tournament, Ithaca College and Slippery Rock played well into the night as both teams did not want to leave anything on the field or begin their long travel home. Destined to be a back and forth affair between the #1 and #2 seeds in Division II, Ithaca College stayed undefeated with a well-earned overtime victory over the defending 2007 Fall Brawl Champions 7-6.

To all teams participating this Fall in scrimmages, please contact the local assignor (on website) to verify your officials for gameday, location, and time. Each division has a different assignor and they should be properly notified of any schedules for the Fall Scrimmage Season.

NCLL PLAYOFFS

Lynchburg College has been selected as the 2008 host for the NCLL Championships. Final Four games will be held Saturday May 3rd with Championships on Sunday May 4th. An All Star game will also be held on Championship Sunday. All teams have been sent an email with playoff games but can also request one from wheel69@aol.com. Teams are hereby also asked to send in their player nominations for the All Star game.
Inclement Weather

When inclement weather cancels a game, please call the assignor, opponent, and commissioner where applicable. Time is of the essence. It is vital to keep the lines of communication open when fields are closed or time is changed due to the changing weather forecast. Teams not following protocol are obligated to pay for any fees from lack of timeliness in cancellation.
